Do you ever sit around and wait for those year end reviews on your music applications just to see how many times you streamed “Delicate” by Taylor Swift or the top artists you listened to that year? Same! But thanks to this super easy trick, I can find out my streaming habits instantaneously during anytime of the year.
Hi friends! Thanks for reading. If you clicked on this post, you’re probably looking for insights on how to get noticed at Taylor Swift’s reputation tour. If you know me at all, you probably already know that I met Taylor Swift on the 1989 World Tour in Chicago. I was picked out of the audience to meet her after the show!
In April 2016, Phoebe Bridgers performed at Lincoln Hall supporting Julien Baker. In April 2018, she returned as the headlining artist, selling out the show. I can’t think of a better example of an artist’s growth than that. Bridgers is probably one of the biggest small artists you’ve never heard of: Ryan Adams produced her debut EP and signed her to his record label, PAX AM – a label that has also released music from Jenny Lewis and even Fall Out Boy.
Hello again! I’m back with a new post about some upcoming performances in Chicago that I think are worth checking out. I’ve narrowed it down to ten for the sake of clarity and I tried to keep the shows upcoming in February and early March. I will definitely do another post for shows coming once Spring is finally here since there’s always new shows in Chicago worth talking about.
When I first planned on writing this piece, I expected to be able to gain a lot of insights in regards to predictions off of a lot of outlets with their own predictions. However, I have found this to be a lot harder than I anticipated…maybe 11 days out is too far away? The Grammys air on January 28. With that being said, I used my own guesses and a few sources that have briefly touched on predictions to create my own post.
I was super excited to get tickets to Jingle Bash this year because, well of course, Taylor Swift was headlining. Swift has never done a radio concert performance like this in Chicago – and she’s only doing three other ones across the country during this holiday season, so I knew that I had to jump at the chance.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am a sucker for award shows. Particularly music based award shows! Most of the time, said shows let me down in regards to entertainment and quality of the performances, and the 2016 Grammys were most definitely full of letdowns and a few nice surprises.
